Media stays with the editing task
Tifime creates GIFs from photos, photo sequences, videos and Live Photos selected with the iOS system picker. The app receives the selected items. Image conversion, captions, effects and GIF encoding run on the device; the editing workflow does not upload your selected media.
When you tap Take Photo, the app asks for camera access to take a still photo. You can review or retake it before adding it to a photo-sequence GIF or a single-photo animation. Capture does not request microphone access, automatically save the original to Photos, or upload it. Cancel leaves existing editing frames unchanged. If access is declined, the system picker remains available.
Temporary copies of selected video and Live Photo motion are used while the editor or an active render needs them, then removed. An interrupted app session may leave temporary files for iOS to clear.
Sound strength, not an audio recording
Microphone permission is requested when you tap Capture rhythm in Animate with sound. Up to five seconds of sound strength are converted into an animation rhythm. Original microphone audio is not saved. You may decline and continue using the available effects without capturing a rhythm. Permission can be changed in iOS Settings.
History and copies you share
Exported GIFs, thumbnails and their editing details are stored in local History. History keeps up to 50 exports; when an older entry is replaced, its local GIF and thumbnail are removed. Individual entries can be deleted from History.
The Delete account control in Settings clears the app's local history and app-owned export files and resets the local session. It does not remove copies already shared, saved elsewhere or held by another app. The iOS share sheet sends only the file and destination you choose; that destination handles the copy under its own practices.
Startup, measurement and diagnostics
The app contacts its configured services to initialize and resume a session. Those requests include a stable installation identifier, app and device information, and session information. This service traffic is separate from on-device GIF editing.
Adjust is integrated for installation attribution, session measurement and app events. Its embedded privacy manifest lists device identifiers for analytics and third-party advertising, and product interaction data for analytics. The app does not display an App Tracking Transparency authorization prompt; the SDK data disclosures above still apply.
The bundled Adjust Signature component also declares device identifiers and diagnostic data for app functionality. Service providers process technical records according to their own service and privacy practices.
Controls and privacy requests
You can choose which media to import, decline camera or microphone access, delete History entries, clear local data using Settings, and choose whether to share an export. Removing local app data cannot erase records already handled by external services.
